Estrogen-only Spray

Estrogen sprays offer another transdermal way of getting estrogen into your system. It is used to treat hot flashes, night sweats, mood changes, sleep and urinary symptoms. They can be sprayed on your inner forearm or inner thigh. As with patches, this type of estrogen treatment is absorbed through the skin directly into the bloodstream. The dosage can be altered by the number of pumps you use, and your doctor will advise you on the correct dosage for you. The spray can be combined with a patch to top up your dose if needed. Estrogen sprays are usually used alongside replacement progestogen in order to protect the lining of your uterus. If you’ve had a hysterectomy, you don’t normally need replacement progestogen. Progesterone can be taken in the form of tablets or via the Mirena coil.

I’m 4 days in to taking lenzatto, hoping that the night sweats will desist & my mental clarity will improve & level out my moods. I also have a mirena coil. I have endometriosis, so need to ensure it doesn’t negatively impact those symptoms.

How long has it been now for you? Is the spray working? I had bad endo too and I’m scared my cramps are signs it’s coming back. Please give me an update. I’m needing to try something to help.
